Noji review: price, free version and privacy

Our verdict

Noji is a good fit for students who want spaced repetition without Anki's learning curve, and who build cards from lectures and files. Buyers should check the exact plan and price at the paywall.

What Noji is

Noji is a flashcard app built on spaced repetition, with Anki-style buttons (Again, Hard, Good, Easy). It focuses on turning outside material into cards: the screenshots show import from PDF files, photos, YouTube links and Shorts, and APKG files, Anki's deck format. The developer says it has a web version and a library of about 50,000 premade decks. Some price list items still carry its earlier name, AnkiPro.

Who it suits

• Anki users who want an easier interface
• Students who want cards made from videos, PDFs and photos

Strengths

• Imports Anki .apkg decks, according to the screenshots
• Generates cards from PDFs, photos and YouTube links
• A library of about 50,000 premade decks, according to the developer
• A web version for studying on a computer

Limits

• Usage data may be used for tracking, according to the privacy label
• Ten overlapping price items, including a 1-month plan at both $4.99 and $19.99, make the real cost hard to read
• The listing does not say what the free version includes
• It does not sync with Anki itself, so it replaces rather than extends an Anki setup

What the free version does

The app is free to download and lets you create and study flashcards, but the listing does not describe the limits of the free version or what Premium adds.

Price

On the US App Store in November 2026, Premium items range from $4.99 to $89.99: 1-month items at $4.99 and $19.99, annual plans at $17.99, $44.99 and $89.99, a lifetime plan at $74.99, and a $29.99 Premium Plan without a stated period.

Privacy

The developer declares that usage data may be used to track you. Purchases, identifiers, usage data and diagnostics are collected without being linked to your identity.

What the screenshots show

The screenshots show a YouTube anatomy lecture turned into a card about coronary capillaries, import options for PDF files, APKG files, YouTube links and photos, and review buttons with intervals from under a minute to 4 days.
